TNS 309LEC - Writing Human and Social Diversity

This is a class about writing for an audience as multicultural as all humanity and as all the citizens of today?s transnational societies. How we consciously imagine writing and reading is important to understanding the implicit?and explicit? Biases that could cripple our communications. This might very well require writers to decenter themselves. This course will help us to diversify our thinking, and hence writing, in the interests of becoming good communicators in any discipline or field of endeavor, in any walk of life.
