ECO 181LD - Introduction to Macroeconomics This course provides an overview of the fundamental economic principles and economic measures used to evaluate the economy, such as gross domestic product, the inflation rate, the unemployment rate, and federal deficits. The course examines how the economy functions, what causes economic difficulties, and the policies that are used to improve the functioning of the economy. This course may be taken independently of ECO 182 .
