CDS 596LEC - Practicum: Speech & Language Pathology 2 The course requires second year graduate students in speech-language pathology to provide therapy and/or diagnostics to clinic clients as well as mentor first year clinicians who are participating in practicum in the fall semester. Graduate students pursuing their Master of Arts degree or Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or Doctorate of Audiology or Ph.D. in audiology provide diagnostic and therapeutic services under the close supervision of clinical faculty in accordance with CAA and ASHA guidelines. Students are required to complete a number of clinical hours and competencies to comply with ASHA, state, and university regulations. Credits: 1
