CDS 580LEC - Speech Path in Schools

This course examines the roles and functions of the school speech language pathologist. Certification requirements, federal and state laws in mandated programs, as well as topics concerning early intervention, preschool, and school age populations and procedures are covered. This course is required for New York State certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
