CE 621LEC - High Perform Computing 2 This course will be a continuation of HPC I, with a more in-depth look at key aspects of high performance parallel computing in large scale computation-intensive applications. The focus will be on algorithms, computational cost, parallelization, scalability, and performance. It is expected that students will have completed HPC I or will have a working knowledge of the topics covered in HPC I, including good command of at least one standard high-level programming language (e.g. Fortran, or C, or Python) as well as message passing software MPI and OpenMP.
