CEP 590LEC - Psy Meas & Intell Assess

This course is for graduate students matriculated in the counseling psychology graduate program. The focus of this course is on administration, scoring, and interpretation of individually administered tests of intelligence, with an emphasis on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale - Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV). This course also includes: background on the basic theory and application of adult cognitive assessment as well as the history, theories, empirical data behind major cognitive tests, and ethical principles relevant to cognitive assessment.Prerequisite(s): matriculation in counseling psychology. There is a fee associated with this class.
