CEP 656SEM - Collaboration for School Safety

This course provides an overview of comprehensive safety initiatives that focus on family-school collaboration and preventive and responsive services. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies for increasing child protective factors and reducing risk for trauma in the event of a crisis situation. Data-based decision making, problem-solving, collaboration, and direct services in the context of crisis prevention, preparation, response, and recovery are reviewed.
