CHB 527LEC - Obesity The purpose of this course is to examine the topic of obesity from multiple perspectives in order to develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary understanding of this serious public health concern. We will discuss all factors contributing to obesity, including genetics, physiology, neurobiology, psychology, environment, parental influence, peer influence, and public policy. The course will discuss how each of these factors relates to nutrition, physical activity, and public health. Credits: 3
