As future dentists, you must be capacitated to manage a diverse patient population and have the interpersonal and communication skills to function in a multicultural work environment. You must also understand the factors and practices that are associated with disparities in health and health care. This course offers an in-depth look at those factors and equips you with opportunities to practice cultural humility, or the ongoing process of learning, self-critique and self-reflection of one¿s privilege and bias (both intentional and unintentional).
