DEE 503SEM - Practicum and Mentored Application of Engineering Education

This course is to provide students the opportunity to develop, receive feedback, and reflect on course/unit and assessment development in engineering education. Students will work with their DEE instructor and their peers to develop a course unit including instructional material and assessments in the engineering discipline of their choice. Implementation is expected to take place as students engage with active instruction with a Faculty Mentor, who will give them the opportunity to implement some of their materials. This course also includes writing a teaching statement and discussion of relevant literature as appropriate.
