ECO 609SEM - Macroeconomic Theory 1 This course is the first part of the macroeconomics graduate sequence. The sequence aims to help the student develop the analytical and methodological tools to follow and understand modern professional research in macroeconomics. The course assumes that the ?classical dichotomy? holds. It reviews the leading contemporaneous theories of consumption and saving, economic growth, real business cycles, and asset pricing.
