ECO 612SEM - Mathematics for Economists 2 The course commences with Gordan?s Lemma and the Fritz-John Theorem for nonlinear programming. Discussions of supermodular functions and sublattices lead to results on monotone statics analysis. Various fixed-point theorems are discussed, along with important economic applications. Optimal control theory and some components of game theory conclude the course. Credits: 3
