ECO 755SEM - Econometric Methods for Causal Inference

This applied microeconometrics course strengthens students’ knowledge of the empirical methods they have learned in foundational courses. The course focuses on how to obtain (or try to obtain) estimates that have a causal interpretation. Specifically, these methods include the basics of classical experiments, instrumental variable, regression discontinuity, difference-in-differences, and some extensions.
