EE 576LEC - High Voltage Engineering

This course introduces topics in high-voltage engineering; generation of high voltages (AC, DC, impulse, pulse); measurements of high voltages; destructive and nondestructive insulation test techniques; shielding and grounding; electric shock and safety. The class culminates in a research paper and presentation on a topic of the student’s choosing/interest in the area of high voltage.
