ELI 512LEC - Communication Int’l TA

Communication for International TAs focuses on the improvement of oral communication skills and English language use for instructional purposes. Topics include conversation management; non-verbal communication; pronunciation and intonation; compensatory communication techniques; and the practice of teaching in higher education in the United States. The course is structured around the delivery of three “microteaching” presentations.
