END 522SEM - Economic Development Planning


Covers theory, concepts, and practices in contemporary economic development planning. Considers alternative approaches, strategies, and methods for creating job growth, including industrial development, workforce training, regional development, and quality of life strategies, including overarching themes of equity, housing, and environmental sustainability. Includes lectures, discussions, and fieldwork. May be offered on an intermittent basis. Students cannot earn credit for both END 522 and URP 522.
