MDY 607LAB - Med Physics Practicum 1

The course will consist of approximately 10 laboratory medical imaging practicums conducted at the Vascular Stroke Center and selected clinical facilities when available. Imaging with x-rays, ultrasound, MRI, and nuclear medicine materials and detectors may all be involved in various experiments and classes. Generally, the class will meet one day each week. After students are introduced to the facility and the goals and after the students complete the measurements or tasks, they will be expected to compose a detailed report upon which their evaluation will be based.
