MDY 575LEC - Adv Diag Med Imag Physics

The first part of the course involves an introduction following Hasagawa then a detailed overview of linear systems analysis using Chapters 2 and 3 of the SPIE Medical Imaging Handbook. The next part of the course involves radiographic detectors with papers by the UB group and Chapter 4 of the SPIE Handbook featured. The last part of the course is variable and is selected by the students from DR, CT, US or other subjects of interest.
