MGF 522LEC - Financial Analysis This course explores foundational topics of financial analysis for corporations. It provides an overview of the financial structure of corporations and the roles of corporate stakeholders (e.g., stockholders, creditors, management, and board of directors). The course exposes students to the structure and principles of financial reports (e.g., the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) that are used in reporting the financial condition and performance of corporations. It also covers the basic concepts and skills for financial planning, management, and analysis, including time value of money, capital budgeting, relationship between expected return and risk, financial planning, and working capital management.
