This course serves as an introduction to the principles, techniques, and importance of data visualization, To effectively characterize and present data, at the outset, it is essential to understand the data, Therefore, one of the major goals of the course is to teach students how to explore data using data visualization techniques and basics of statistics. A second major goal of the course is to teach students what to visualize and how to communicate information meaningfully and without ambiguity. A third goal is to teach students how to build business narratives using dashboards and storyboards enabling better understanding and decision making.
