MT 502LR - Clinical Immunology Clinical Immunology is the study of all aspects of the immune system, with a particular focus on immune system diseases. MT 402/502 will explore the functions and mechanisms of the human immune system, including antigen-antibody reactions and their application to serological testing. Diseases studied will include autoimmune diseases, syphilis, hepatitis, HIV-AIDS, infectious mononucleosis, cytomegalovirus infections and toxoplasmosis. Registration in MT 402/502 is open to MT and BTE accepted majors, and, on a space available basis, to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in related majors who have fulfilled the prerequisites and have an interest in learning Clinical Immunology.
