MUS 628SEM - Composition Seminar

Students will present their work for peer and guest artist critique; examine the social, cultural, and political factors that have influenced the development of 20th and 21st century music composition; explore interdisciplinary collaboration; and discuss the skills and strategies needed for professional success, including program curation, grant writing, and the development of artistic community. Invited composers and per-formers will give presentations and workshops on various topics, providing students with a range of perspectives and insights.
