PAS 811LAB - Neuroanatomy


This course is a basic synopsis of the human functional neuroanatomy and Central Nervous System (CNS) diseases. Lectures and laboratory sessions analyze the relationship between nervous system structural features and functions. Cranial Nerves functional anatomy and pathology are emphasized. typically, the lectures are focused on normal functional and pathological neuroanatomy. Laboratory sessions are spent examining and discussing neuroanatomical (normand pathological) specimens and relevant diseases. “Home Practice” assignments are designed to solidify and practice the learned material through problem-solving computer exercises. The course will provide foundational knowledge for the part 1 National Dental Board Examination.
