PED 807TUT - Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology Combined Elective The combined Allergy/Immunology and Pediatric Rheumatology rotation is offered as a 4 week elective rotation. The majority of the rotation will take place in the clinic setting. Conditions that are commonly evaluated in Pediatric Rheumatology include but are not exclusive to Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and related systemic autoimmune disease, Systemic Vasculitis, Inflammatory Myopathies (IM), Uveitis, Autoinflammatory Syndromes, Pain Syndromes, and Raynauds Disease. Common diseases evaluated in Pediatric Allergy/Immunology clinic include but are not exclusive to: asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria and angioedema, hymenoptera sensitivity, food allergy, drug reactions, and primary immune deficiency. Credits: 4
Requisites: Pre-Requisite: PED 700 and MS4.
