PTH 950TUT - Research in Pathology The goals of this course are to provide students with insight into research and practical experience in a small project. Students will engage in research projects involving one of the current areas of scientific investigation engaged in by department members. These include experimental immunology, transplantation immunology, cytokines, neuroimmunology, experimental hypertension, experimental endocrinology, cell biology of tumors, and neuropathology. Students must have prior approval of the Department Chair or Investigator and a proposed research project before enrolling for the research course. At the end of the research course, the students should have developed an appreciation of the investigative approach and practical experience in a small research project. Credits: 4
