RPG 606TUT - Doctoral Lab Rotation This tutorial is for first year students to spend short term periods of training in research labs of Graduate Faculty in the Roswell Park Graduate Division. During this time students will learn the scope of research in the laboratory, basic techniques, and the nature of the working environment. Students are evaluated on their attendance in lab and participation in experiments and lab meetings. RPGD students who have not previously trained in the Master’s program are required to conduct 3 rotations. Master’s students completing a Master’s thesis in a lab at RPGD and admitted to the PhD Program should consult the graduate handbook for policy regarding rotation waivers. By the end of each rotation, students will be able to make an informed and experience-based decision regarding the research and lab environment best suited to their pursuit of dissertation research.
