VS 505SEM - Tactics of Praxis “This course builds a theoretical framework for future-focused practices particularly in the context of emerging communications and entertainment technologies, political formations and market trends. Key theoretical approaches investigated include Felix Guattari·s elaboration of ‘”“Pragmatics”“, Bruno Latour·s “”Actor-Network-Theory”“, and Geert Lovink’s and David Garcia’s essays on “”Tactical Media.”” These theoretical texts are investigated alongside varied contemporary writings on strategic public relations, information design, and product marketing as well as institutional “”case-studies”” that might be used as examples.
