CE 515LEC - Intro to Nanoporous Materials

The course, “Introduction on Nanoporous Materials” is focused on synthesis, characterization, and potential applications of nanoporous materials. Specifically, this course will include overview of nanoporous materials, intermolecular interactions, adsorption in nanoporous materials and its application for surface area and pore characterization, characterization of nanoporous materials by various techniques, synthesis of nanoporous materials, and applications of nanoporous materials. After completing the course, graduate students are expected to learn the fundamentals and basics of nanoporous materials, porous materials design strategies, and their potential applications in different fields.
