RPG 520LLB - Principles of Computational Oncology This course introduces the three pillars of computational oncology, including 1) the biology of cancer, 2) statistical analysis, and 3) computational application. The target students are graduate students from both biology backgrounds and math/statistics backgrounds who aim to learn computational approaches to study genetics and genomics to advance the understanding of cancer biology and improve patient outcomes. In this course, we will first review cancer cell biology and statistics basics, then focus on computational approaches of genomics and biomedical informatics in cancer research. Credits: 4
