ODS 823 - Physical Assessment of the Dental Patient

This course prepares, dental students to obtain a thorough medical history, and obtain/ analyze vital signs. In addition, the student will learn to perform physical assessments of the head, neck, chest, abdomen and extremities, including a basic neurological examination. A thorough oral-pharyngeal examination will also be taught.
