BE 202LR - Applied Medical and Engineering Biology


This course includes cell and organ physiology concepts, such as cell biology, plasma membrane and potential, nervous system, muscle physiology, cardiac physiology, blood vessels and blood pressure, blood, immune system, respiratory system, fluid balance, and digestive system. By the end of the course, students are expected to have a broad understanding of physiological processes that underlie many subjects in Biomedical Engineering.
