CIE 449LEC - Environmental Engineering Design Design of environmental engineering systems, such as water-distribution networks; storm and wastewater collection systems; treatment systems for air, water, and wastewater; and hazardous waste site remediation. This is a professional practice-oriented course and includes process engineering principles, system analysis and design, regulations, economics, guest lectures, and field trips. Students work in design teams and produce written and oral reports for a major design project.
