ECO 443SEM - Labor Economics


This course provides a thorough introduction to the economic analysis of labor markets. The objective of this course are to understand economic models of markets of labor, to learn how labor economists use empirical methods to study labor market issues, and apply these models and methods to understand policy debates. It also examines wage differentials, unemployment, discrimination, and government regulation of wage-setting institutions.
