EVS 217LEC - Environmental Chemistry: Principles and Applications For Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Environmental Science students; designed to show how chemistry is involved in the identification, analysis, and solution of a large array of environmental problems. Relates basic chemistry to the atmosphere, the ozone layer, global warming, greenhouse gasses, energy production and emissions, water quality and pollution, acid precipitation, nuclear power and waste, nutrition, hydrology, and hazardous wastes.
