GEO 356LEC - Forest Ecology Explores forests in terms of their diverse structure, composition, and function. Examines factors that control growth of individual trees, development of forest stands, and dynamics of forest landscapes. Field trips and lab work develop the ability to recognize and reconstruct forest history, using a combination of forest structure and tree-ring analysis.
