NBC 320LAB - Health Assessment for Practicing Nurses


The purpose of this course is to assist the RN student to further refine and develop health assessment in nursing. Emphasizes critical thinking skills required for accurate collection and analysis of client health information and provides opportunities for enhancement of physical assessment skills. It enables students to practice and refine interdisciplinary and therapeutic communication as well as assessment and psychomotor skills. Activities foster critical thinking, prioritization, delegation, and teamwork. Planned seminars and/or conferences promote professional development.
