MIC 598TUT - MS Thesis


Guided thesis project with an element of original research under the mentorship and supervision of a full-time faculty in Microbiology and Immunology. This course is designed as a capstone experience and requires the preparation of a formal written thesis in the spring semester of your second year that fulfills departmental and Graduate School requirements, as well as a successful public defense to fulfill the MS degree requirements under the thesis option in Microbiology and Immunology. Topic and activities to be performed in this project are subject to agreement between student and faculty member, including (but not limited to) laboratory research or other scientific research related to the fields of study in the department. Requires a minimum of 6 credits. Pre-Requisite: One term of MIC 596 and approval by program director and participating faculty member. Credits: 1-3
