LAW 500TUT - Professional Development

Students will develop an understanding of the skills and professional responsibility of being an attorney, counselor at law and legal advocate. Students will learn skills to perform well in the Law School curriculum. You will also learn about issues facing law students and attorneys as they try to meet their obligation to “maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct.” Topics will include ethical obligations and stressors facing lawyers, and mentoring. Due to guest presentations, attendance is required at all sessions to successfully complete this course. While the course will be graded S/U, students who do not regularly attend will not pass the course and will have to repeat it in their second year of Law School.
