LAW 632SEM - Academic Legal Writing I This course, reserved for Law Review Associates, is the first semester of a two-course sequence, culminating in three seminar credits. One credit is earned this fall and two credits are earned in the spring. The entire sequence consists of training on what law review articles and notes are, how to evaluate them; how to select a topic for a note, organize and begin your research, and develop your topic into an argument expressed in an outline; and finally, how to write a first and revise a first draft. The entire sequence also will involve writing a law review note, receiving faculty and student feedback on your outline and first draft, and student editor feedback on your second draft. You will keep and turn in a log of your hours spent throughout the semester (33 hours minimum, excluding class time but including reading time for assignments).
