LAW 649LEC - New York Matrimonial and Family Law Practice

Students will learn the fundamentals of how to handle cases in NYS Supreme & Family Courts, including Divorce, Finances, Support, Custody and related topics. In addition to reviewing cases and other materials and discussing them in a classroom setting, this course will include student observation of cases in courtrooms in downtown Buffalo, role play of case studies, and a class project. This course is highly recommended for the family law concentration.
