LAW 652TUT - Federal Criminal Trial Skills

An intensive focus on federal criminal law and procedure that combines legal analysis with trial advocacy skills. Students will be paired with new and experienced attorneys to develop a trial strategy, create witness examinations, identify evidentiary issues, and run a full trial in front of experienced judges/lawyers/law clerks. The course will involve lecture and performance of trial skills. Out of class assignments will involve meeting with attorney mentors and preparing their trials with the assigned attorney partners.
