LAW 727LEC - Transactional Practices

This course introduces and explores transactional practices of law. Each class will be taught in two parts. In the first part, practitioners will lead discussion workshops on the skills needed for their work. After considering business objectives, the practitioners will focus on the structure of the deals, and the documents lawyers must negotiate, draft and administer to achieve success. The first part is followed by a break with opportunities for networking (snacks provided). The second part will provide students with an opportunity to lock in their learning through discussions, simulations, group work, and presentations. Class will meet eight times on Fridays in September and October.
