LAW 925LEC - Soc Sec Disability Law

This course will provide an overview and in-depth study of social security disability law and practice in the context of administrative law. Topics will include: 1) eligibility for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits; and 2) the appeal process when an individual is denied benefits, with an emphasis on appeals to the U.S. District Courts. Students will write one short paper.
