LAW 929LEC - Environmental Law Oral Advocacy This course helps students develop oral advocacy and presentation skills. Students will learn how to structure legal arguments, effectively use caselaw, oral argument skills, and courtroom etiquette. Classes will involve examining a thorny environmental law problem and using available briefs to structure oral arguments for all sides of the issue. We will use this year’s current problem from the National Environmental Moot Court competition. Some class meetings will take place off campus. Course grade will be based on presentations, case summaries, and short reflection papers. Required for the Environmental Moot Court Team. Enrollment only by permission of the instructor.
