LAW 995LEC - Direct & Cross-Exam: Criminal

The course deals with experts including DNA specialists, forensic pathologists, forensic psychologists, fingerprint experts, and/or forensic pediatricians. Students will perform a direct examination on their expert and cross-examine opposing counsel’s expert witness; address matters of evidence, motions in limine, and the notice requirements under the CPL. Students must also submit a written memorandum analyzing the witness and their goals for direct and cross-examination.
