ES 208LEC - Human Form & Function II


This course is the second in a two-course sequence and will cover the basics of human movement and musculoskeletal anatomy to prepare students for upper division exercise science courses. Basic biomechanical principles of gait and posture and the fundamental processes of muscle contraction and nerve function will be covered. Examples used to emphasize the material will be relevant to sport science and exercise science.

This course will prepare you to succeed in PAS 407 Gross Anatomy by helping you learn key foundational knowledge and by helping you discover, develop, and practice the academic skills you’ll need to excel in your future coursework.
