NSR 803 - Cleft and Craniofacial

The elective is a four-week rotation on a clinical service which provides 4th year medical students additional training and experience in managing patient care. Through a patient centered approach, students will acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to provide care for patients in a continuous and comprehensive manner rooted in scientific, evidence-based, and humanistic principles. A variety of modalities will be utilized during the elective including inpatient, outpatient, pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative experiences. Instructional methods will include direct patient care, didactic presentations, and conferences
