IDM 999 - Scientific Literacy & Inquiry Capstone: Health Sciences Scholarly Project & Presentation

The Scientific Literacy and Inquiry Pillar prepares students to understand and engage in evidence-based medicine and research focused activities. Woven through each phase of your medical education, this pillar begins in students’ first year and culminates in a scholarly project during their fourth year.

In Phases 2 and 3 of the curriculum, students will continue engaging in SL&I activities introduced in Phase 1, while also applying what they have learned to real-world clinical experiences they will be encountering during their clerkship rotations as well as to their Health Sciences Scholarly Project and presentation.
