Clinical and Translational Therapeutics

The Clinical and Translational Therapeutics micro-credential consists of a three-course series that covers the fundamentals of clinical and translational therapeutics. It offers a comprehensive overview of the basics and methodologies involved in translational therapeutics, with practical applications for generating project ideas spanning across pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences and various other scientific fields. Each course includes lectures and hands-on practice using application-based software to navigate pharmaceutical data and solve in-silico modeling problems. Finally, you will complete a protocol-driven research project, producing data-driven results through in-silico methods.

  • The activities observed in these courses allows the learner to evaluate clinical research methods and how they relate to clinical applications, especially with in-silico models and data. Following successful completion of the courses students will be required to complete a project that encompasses a research plan utilizing in-silico data and modeling. Students in the micro-credential must pass this with an 80% or better. PHM552 or PHC615 sets the student up for this final project.
