- A minimum overall GPA of at least 2.000
- A minimum Economics GPA of 2.500
Transfer Credit Policy Economics minors must take all 9 credits of upper-level economics electives at UB. Transfer credit may be applied toward the required courses. Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the requirements of the undergraduate minor in economics, the student will: - have a good working knowledge of the basic principles and terminology of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.
- be able to read, evaluate, and interpret general economic information.
- be able to understand and apply basic statistics.
- have a sound knowledge of the subject areas covered by the elective courses.
- be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral forms.
